FEB UMY Cooperate with Khon Kaen Bussines School Thailand
To realize Young and Worldwide Campus, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarata (UMY) cooperate with various institution in national and international level. FEB UMY has done the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Khon Kaen Business School (KKBS) Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy Khon Kaen University Thailand on Friday (8/9) at UMY Integrated Campus A.R Fachrudin Building A 5th floor.
Dr. Rizal Yaya SE., M.Sc., Ak.CA as Dean of FEB UMY said that this is one of International Development Program of Management and Business (IMaBs). Besides, it is also aimed to improve students and lectures quality in journal publication development and UMY students’ quality. He added “I am so happy because it’s a great opportunity as the experiences in education, research and scientific publication exchange.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pensri Jaroenwanit from KKBS said that he was so happy with this MoA because it was the first agreement with Indonesian Higher Education. “We are so happy because Indonesia is big country and has a lot of culture. Beside, we have few knowing about Indonesia, so we have to learn further. Therefore, this MoA is great for students and lecturers development of both institution.” He also hoped that this MoA can strengthen the relationship between Khon Kaen University (KKU) Thailand and UMY. He added “Further we will support students exchange with good education financing offers.” Pensri also said that students exchange program not yet done in this year because still need finishing preparation. “Perhaps we can do students exchange next year, because we still needs more time for prepare.” Said Pensri.
