Monday (4/21). The Faculty of Economics and Business of the Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta received a visit from Professor Wing-Keung Wong who is a Professor from Asia University, Taiwan. This visit is part of the Program Visiting Professor held in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business, Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah University and Asia University Taiwan. More specifically, this collaboration involves the UMY FEB Economic Development Study Program (IESPEP) and the UMY Research, Publications & Community Service (LP3M) Institute. During his visit to the Dean of the FEB, Prof. Wong was met directly by the Dean of the FEB, Rizal Yaya, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak., CA. accompanied by pre-vice dean. Some of the activities that will be carried out by Professor Wing-Keung Wong include:
1. Advanced Quantitative Methodology Training held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, which took place in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta
2. General Lecture or Guest Lecturer Lecturer of Development Economics Study Program (IESP) with the theme “Financial Technology For Asia” which is held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, which is located at the K.H Building. Ibrahim 5th Floor, UMY.
3. Taiwan Higher Education Fair which was held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at the UMY Sportorium Building.
4. Become a reviewer for articles that will be published by FEB UMY lecturers in international journals indexed by Scopus.
The expectation of carrying out this activity is as a form of cooperation and the establishment of an increasingly close relationship between the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta with universities that are within the scope of Asia, especially with Asia University, Taiwan.
