6TH VOM and Entrepreneur Day: Sharpening the Spirit of Entrepreneurship through Talent and Creativity
Monday (4/29). The Management Student Association (HIMAMA) in collaboration with the Management Laboratory and the Youthpreneur Community has held a business event called “Entrepreneur Days”, this event is one of the activities in the series of The 6th Voice of Management (6 # VOM) events conducted by the Student Association Management (HIMAMA) FEB-UMY. The purpose of holding this event is as a form of facilities provided to management students by the Management Student Association (HIMAMA), the Management Laboratory and the Youthpreneur Community in honing, inspiring and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit.
In this event there were 3 activities which included:
- Entrepreneurship Bazaar
- Entrepreneurial Talk Show
- The Night of the Peak Management Festival
In the Entrepreneurship Bazaar, there are 87 entrepreneurial booths filled with businesses owned by management students. The businesses included also have various forms and types of businesses, starting from culinary, fashion, and service businesses, and most of them are owned businesses. by students.
In addition to the bazaar, this event also held an entrepreneurial talk show filled with speakers who are owners of several businesses and alumni of the Management study program itself, the speaker in this talkshow was Adiyat Sayuti owner @prisoner_apparel, Nailatul Khaeroti owner @ naisha.hijab, and Dyah Ratri W owner @pizzachology.
On the evening which is the culmination of a whole series of Management Festival activities, the Management Student Association (HIMAMA) closed all Management festival activities by holding a peak night called the 6th Voice of Management (5th VOM), this peak night activity was filled with various entertainment, such as art dance and music.
Besides, the 6th VOM Award was given to lecturers and students. The award for the lecturer category was won by Meika Kurnia Puji Rahayu DA, M.Sc., Ph.D. as the best Management lecturer in 2019 and Muhammad Miftahun Nadzir, BABA, MBA. As the most exciting Management lecturer in 2019. For the student category, the award was won by Khoirummuzaidah (class of 2016) as the most trusted Management student, Mulyono (class of 2016) as the most respected student, and Nurul Hilmi as the best student
